Skates are also known as moving dollies or rollers. They are used in a range of industrial environments such as manufacturing factories and warehouses. These skates are used to move heavy loads and equipment over short distances and manoeuvre these loads into their desired location.
Skates need to be used in conjunction with lifting equipment such as pallet jacks or lifters. This equipment is used to raise the load so that the skates can be fitted underneath and then lowers the load onto them to start the process.
